Shampoo Bars - Coming Soon

You might remember a time when we made a solid shampoo bar. This was a cold process soap with specialty oils and ingredients (slightly different from our regular body soap recipes) to help nourish and cleanse your hair. While this type of soap seemed to work great for those who used it, they were quite different from the type of ingredients used in liquid shampoos. We may bring back a version of our cold process shampoo bar soap but in the mean time, we'll be focusing on syndet solid shampoo bars.

So what really is the difference between the two different types of shampoo bars?

A soap is made using either a cold or hot method where lye and oils mix to create a bar of pure soap. 

A syndet bar is made using synthetic detergents. Synthetic detergents have come a long way! Where you used to only find products jam packed with sulfates, you can now find naturally derived alternatives that are exponentially safer and more gentle for your hair and body.
